Hi, ik ben Larissa!
Born in the 90’s en al sinds jonge leeftijd gepassioneerd door wol. De grondleggers van deze passie zijn mijn overgrootmoeder en oma die fervente breisters waren/zijn, breien zit helemaal in mijn genen.
Een paar jaar geleden is bij mij een aangeboren hartafwijking vastgesteld waarvoor verschillende hartoperaties nodig waren. Tijdens het herstel van de operaties kon ik niets behalve… breien en haken. In deze periode heb ik dan ook de beslissing genomen om mijn passie te volgen en daar is Woolmadness het resultaat van.
Woolmadness is een webwinkel waarin wol en accessoires worden verkocht met dat tikkeltje extra. Ik ga op zoek naar de mooiste materialen en de beste kwaliteiten met oog voor diervriendelijkheid, zodat jij met de meest prachtige materialen jouw creaties kan maken.
Of je nu een doorwinterde breister/haakster bent of je zet net jouw eerste stappen in de breiwereld, Woolmadness heeft voor elk wat wils.

Hi, I’m Larissa!
I was born in the 90s and since a young age I’ve been passionate about wool. The people who helped sow this passion in me were my grandmother and great-grandmother. They were avid knitters, so knitting is definitely in my DNA.
Just a few years ago I was diagnosed with a heart disease. I needed to undergo multiple surgeries to keep the condition under control. During the recovery process I couldn’t do much physically; except knitting and crocheting. It was in this period that I decided to follow my passion, and that is how Woolmadness came about.
Woolmadness is a webshop where wool and knitting accessories are sold, with a tad bit extra. I look for the nicest material with the best quality, while keeping an eye for the welfare of the animals from where the wool is sourced. So that, you, can make your creations with the highest grade of materials.
If you are a seasoned knitter/crocheter or you’re setting your first steps into the world of knitting, Woolmadness has something for everyone.
