Rauma Garn wordt al sinds 1927 gesponnen in een Noorse spinnerij, deze wordt op dit moment gerund noor de 3de generatie van de familie Digernes. Rauma produceert verschillende soorten garen maar is vooral extra fier op hun garens uit 100% Noorse wol, deze wol is een erg duurzaam product wat resulteert in warme en luchtige kleding die erg lang meegaat. Alle Noorse wol die Rauma Garn verwerkt heeft het Nordic Swan eco-label, dit eco-label wordt alleen uitgereikt aan producten die voldoen aan de hoogste milieunormen.

Rauma Garn has been spun in Norway since 1927 and is still a family business, now run by the 3th generation of the Digernes family. Rauma produces many yarns, but is particulary proud of its Norwegian wool yarns. Norwagian wool is a very sustainable product wich makes warm and breathable garments that last a long time. All Norwegian wool used by Rauma Garn is certified with the Nordic Swan eco-label, this certification is awarded to products that have been manufactured to the highest environmental standards.
